Every business has its own special vocabulary. At Sea Bags, we use the word “vintage” to describe a certain type of recycled sailcloth.

The difference is that they share certain characteristic numbers or logo design from the original sail. For us, the word “vintage” is less about the length of existence or age; but rather it refers to the color and original graphics on a type of sailcloth from which the bag is made.

Each panel is one of kind and varies by color, graphic and texture. That variable is part of the “journey” that many customers prefer. In Sea Bags lingo “vintage” is synonymous with sun-sealed, unique and original.
