Show Us Your Burgee
In the longstanding maritime tradition, Sea Bags is launching its program Show Us Your Burgee. It is customary the first time a member of one yacht club visits another club to exchange burgees. We are seeking distinguishing flags representing recreational boating organizations across the country and the world!
Yacht clubs and their members fly their club's burgee while underway and at anchor, day or night, but we will fly your burgee from our flagship store in Freeport, Maine.
We understand the sense of pride that a burgee brings with it. Donated burgees will be raised on our pulley (the closest thing we have to the main masthead) then added to the burgee collection decorating the outside of our store. Thousands of people visit Freeport a year. Classic burgees will capture the attention of shoppers and pique the interest of fellow sailors.
